The Lok Sabha Secretariat on Friday said that construction of the new Parliament building will begin in December this year and will be completed by October 2022.
The Secretariat said the new Parliament building will have a separate office for each Member of Parliament. These offices will be equipped with latest digital interfaces as part of the objective to have 'paperless offices'.
The new Parliament building will also have a Constitution Hall, MPs lounge, library, committee rooms, dining areas, apart from ample parking space.
