New features added to Instagram have reportedly begun rolling out to users, a few days after being announced by the Facebook-owned platform. The highlight feature is cross-app communication that integrates Facebook's Messenger messaging service into Instagram Direct Messages. Users can now also watch content on Facebook Watch, IGTV and Reels together while on a video call through the app. Other notable mentions include disappearing messages, colour gradients for chats and the ability to reply to a specific message while chatting.
