NASA's first robotic landing spacecraft, the InSight, is ever nearer to landing on Mars. The vehicle has been travelling for six months, 548 million kms from Earth, and is due to land on the red planet later today. InSight will spend 24 months, and use seismic monitoring systems and drilling to gather data on how Mars was formed.
