NASA shared a stunning, multi-coloured photograph of the Anti-Atlas Mountains in southwest Morocco and netizens can't take their eyes off it. The image captured the mountain range, as seen from nearly 708 km above the surface of the Earth. The tie-and-dye effect of the image, as per NASA, was because it was taken in infrared light, highlighting the different layers of sediments and rocks. The mountains, the post reveals, were formed as a result of African and Eurasion tectonic plates colliding nearly 80 million years ago.
