A photograph released by the agency shows the wheel tracks that the rover left on the red planet. The drive is a huge step forward in the Mars mission for NASA. The Perseverance rover landed on Mars on Feb 18, accomplishing the riskiest step in a quest to bring back rocks that could answer whether life ever existed on Mars.
