The CBI has moved the Supreme Court against a Calcutta High Court order allowing the house arrest of three Trinamool leaders and one other arrested in connection with the Narada bribery case.
The CBI has asked for the Calcutta High Court hearing on the politicians' bail plea today to be cancelled.
The central agency had arrested 2 minister in Mamata Banerjee government, one TMC MLA and former Kolkata mayor last week. The high court had sent them in house arrest after a lower court granted them bail.
The high court had sent the bail hearing to a larger bench after a 2-judge bench differed on the bail.
