The mysterious metal monolith which was discovered in the Red Rock desert of Utah and gave rise to a series of conspiracy theories, has now disappeared, the state's Bureau of Land Management confirmed.
The gleaming, nearly 12-foot tall structure, which the BLM called private property, has been removed by an 'unkown party' they said.
The unusual structure was spotted by a team of biologists during a helicopter survey on November 18.
