Andy Murray’s US Open comeback came to a premature end as he went down to Canadian prodigy Felix Auger-Aliassime in the 2nd round on Thursday. The 2012 US Open winner was playing his first grand slam singles tournament since career-saving hip surgery in January 2019 and was handed a straight sets 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 defeat. After a gruelling 5 setter in the opening round, Murray looked rusty and could only manage 9 winners. Felix, on the other hand, did not face a single breakpoint on his serve, hit 24 aces and an incredible 52 winners.
