The Roll-on Roll-off service, between Ferry Wharf in Mumbai and Mandwa in Alibaug was successfully launched on Sunday. The original 3-hour journey, which is 18 kilometers, can now be completed in just 45 minutes with the RoRo water transport service. The vessel has the capacity to carry 1000 passengers, 200 cars and can even operate during the monsoon season.
