A project that aims to radio-tag vultures in Madhya Pradesh's Panna Tiger Reserve is underway.
The month-long initiative aims to study the birds' habits and movements.
The programme, in partnership with the Wildlife Institute of India in Dehradun, will involve radio-tagging 25 vultures.
Panna Tiger Reserve is home to seven vulture species and the study will analyze how they reach Panna, the routes they take and their habits.
