Moong & masoor dals are masked with toxins: FSSAI

Recent studies conducted by the national food safety authorities show that pulses imported from Canada and Australia, into India are masked with toxins. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India warned consumers from eating moong & masoor daals regularly, as they contain herbicides like Glyphosate, a weed killer. In fact, tests conducted by Canadian Food Inspection Agency on lentils produced in Canada & Australia, found high levels of Glyphosate the consumption of which can cause serious health problems.
