Newcastle denied Liverpool a much-needed win as Jurgen Klopp's side was held back to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening at the Anfield.
While Mohamed Salah created history with his early goal, it did not help the Reds much who were looking to qualify for the Champions League with a top-4 finish. This was Salah's 20th goal of the season, making him the first-ever Liverpool player to score as many goals in 3 different Premier League seasons. Joe Willock's injury-time equaliser, dented Liverpool's hopes as they are 6th on the points table.
