Modric rejects Real Madrid’s first offer to extend his contract

Croatian footballer Luka Modric has rejected Real Madrid's first offer to extend his current contract. According to a report in Telemadrid, Inter Milan would try to sign him again next summer when Modric's deal with Real expires in 2020. The midfielder who won the golden Ball at FIFA World Cup 2018, had earlier claimed that he wanted to stay with the Spanish club and retire at Real Madrid.
