After Trinamool Congress criticised Prime Minister’s visit to Bangladesh as unethical and in violation of the model code of conduct, PM Modi has hit back. Claiming that Mamata Banerjee is ‘seasonal’ with her faith, the PM made several allegations on religious grounds. He said that the TMC chief objected to his visiting temples, and alleged that her party has problems with saffron cloth, Jai Sri Ram slogans. He further added and her party workers call 'chotiwalas' as 'rakshas'. As Bengal votes in the second phase of assembly elections, the Prime Minister campaigned in Jaynagar and also took a jibe at Mamata’s message to her supporters to ‘stay cool’.
