Mizoram boy who saved injured chick gets PETA award

The young boy from Mizoram, whose kind gesture of trying to save a chicken he ran over, made headlines earlier in April, has now won him a PETA India award. Derek was honoured with the 'Compassionate Kid' Award for inspiring other children. He received a lot of praise online after he rushed the chick to the hospital with all the money he had.
