Car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has shown off some truly futuristic technology at the IAA Mobility 2021 conference in Munich, Germany. Their Vision AVTR concept car can be controlled with your mind.
Visitors to the conference can even try out the mind control in person, which requires the user to wear a device with wearable electrodes, which reads brain waves, on the back of their head.

Users have to focus their attention on specific lights on the car’s dashboard, which the system will then read and translate into commands for the car.
According to Mercedes, while mind control for cars won’t be available commercially anytime soon, it is now no longer in the realm of science fiction, but something that we can feasibly achieve.
