MG Motor India will launch the Astor compact SUV in the country on October 11, 2021. While we have driven the car and told you all about it, details on the variants and pricing will be available at the time of launch. The MG Astor is built on the same platform as the ZS EV. The car gets a new grille, heated wing mirrors new digital key with Bluetooth technology, as well as power-adjustable front seats, auto climate control, and 360-degree camera. The car will also come with Level 2 ADAS that brings automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot detection and more. The MG Astor will also get a customised AI assistant, which understands natural language and supports up to 35 Hinglish voice commands. Engine options will include the 1.4-litre turbo and 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated motor with manual and automatic transmission choices.
