Mercedes-Benz India will be increasing the prices of select models in India from October 2020. There will be an upward revision of 2 per cent in prices, which will come into effect from the first week of October. Mercedes-Benz India said that the weakening of the Indian rupee compared to the Euro since the past six to seven months, combined with an increase in input costs forced the automaker to hike the prices. The addition of new technologies and features like Mercedes Me Connect across its product portfolio was also a contributor to the increase in prices.
