The study noted that sanitary protection is unavailable to many women across the world. This safe and long-lasting alternative to sanitary napkins could be a game-changer. The study reviewed 43 previous studies gathering data on over 3,000 women. Menstrual cups collect blood rather than absorb it and showed no risk of infection.
