Sri Lankan cricket board has made it clear how strict they are when it comes to following Covid-19 protocols, as they have handed Kusal Mendis, Niroshan Dickwella and Danushka Gunathilaka a year-long ban.

The 3 cricketers were suspended and were ordered to return home from England after a video of them went viral on social media, showing them roaming out in a public space in Durham, which was not part of their bio-bubble.

Mendis, Dickwella, and Gunathilaka are also dropped from the limited-overs series against India starting next month due to several breaches of their contract.
