The Boxing day test is scheduled for 26th December in Melbourne as Victoria is struggling to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic. With the approval of hosting sports coming from the national government, Victorian Premier is confident that fans will also be allowed as Cricket Australia is also exploring the idea of shifting the iconic Test to Adelaide as the local administration has given a green signal for fans to watch cricket. The city of Melbourne has been in a 4-month long lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
