Meet the Kerala couple who run a coffee shop and travel the world together

Mohana Vijayan and KR Vijayan, an elderly couple from Kochi have been running a coffee house for the past 27 years and travelling around the world with their earnings. 

Their first international trip was to Israel in 2007. Since then they have travelled to 25 countries together.

Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group sponsored their last trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2019. 

Due to the pandemic, they have not been able to travel for the past two years. Now, their next trip is scheduled to happen in October 2021 to Russia. Their grandchildren will be accompanying them too. 

They aspire to meet the Russian President Vladimir Putin on the trip. 

"We have had so much of trouble due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now the time has come to travel again," Mohana was quoted saying.
