Drone maker DJI has launched its first educational robot for kids, the RoboMaster S1. The tank-like robot comes equipped with a gimbal, range of sensors and a tiny camera that shoots 1080p video. It can move in multiple directions and shoots infrared lasers and gel pellets. The S1 also teaches children coding, as it can be programmed via the native app, using either Python or Scratch. DJI claims its little robot has a maximum speed of 8 miles per hour and offers up to 30 minutes of battery life on a single charge. The RoboMaster S1 is available in the US for $499.
