The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday summoned Pakistan diplomat over the transfer of management of Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib. India had strongly objected to Pakistan’s move to transfer the management of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib from Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) to the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), which is a non-Sikh body. MEA condemned the decision and said the decision is against religious sentiments of the Sikh community. It also said that the move exposes the reality of the Pakistani government and its leadership.
