Maruti Suzuki India has announced that it will be increasing the prices of its cars from January 2022. The company, in its statement, said that over the past year its vehicles continue to be adversely impacted due to an increase in various input costs and the company has now decided to pass on some of the impact of the above additional input costs to customers through a price hike. The carmaker has not shared the quantum of price hikes, and neither has it said anything about whether the rise in cost will be across the portfolio or not. However, Maruti Suzuki did say that the increase shall vary for different models.
