Maruti gets into gear to supply oxygen, halts production

India's largest car marker Maruti Suzuki has halted production at it's Haryana factory in order to produce and supply oxygen to medical centres. The company in a statement to the stock exchanges informed it has advanced it annual maintenance from May 1 to May 9 to coincide with shutdown. Maruti however did not quantify the amount of oxygen it would be supplying. 
Suzuki Motor plant in Gujarat will also remain shut for auto production and focus its resources in supplying oxygen as well.
