Markets see mixed day in trade, Jet soars while Yes Bank dives

It was a mixed bag for the market in trade today. While the Sensex and Nifty closed in the green, the midcap index lagged the frontliners and spent the day in the red. Tech stocks and Reliance remained outperformers and Jet Airways saw smart buying on news the promoter had agreed to sell his stake to an investor. Conversely , Yes Bank was under severe pressure after Moody's cut its credit rating to junk. Oil marketing stocks also closed the day with losses.
