In their quest to strengthen their squad's attack in the wake of Sunday's 6-1 humiliation by Tottenham, Manchester United has completed the deal with Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani. Cavani, who has signed a one-year contract with the option to extend for a further year, moves to Old Trafford on a free transfer following his release from Paris St Germain this summer. The 33-year-old netted 200 goals in 301 games after joining PSG in 2013, for a then-French record deal of 64 million euros.
