Man lynched to death over suspicion of cattle theft in Bihar

A 55-year-old man has been reportedly beaten to death by a mob of over 300 people on the suspicion of cattle theft in Bihar's Araria district. Videos shot by the attackers show him being mercilessly beaten and repeatedly called a thief. Police say the victim knew his attackers and they belong to the same community. The incident took place on the 29th of December in Simarbani village and a case has been registered against unknown people.
