Maha Covid surge: 50% capacity for theatres, private offices till March 31

Amid a surge in Covid infections in Maharashtra, the state government issued fresh guildelines ordering private offices, theatres, auditoriums to operate at 50% capacity till March 31.

The order also stated entry will be barred if people don’t wear face masks. Maharashtra reported 25,833 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the 24-hour period till Thursday night, the highest since the outbreak of the pandemic last year.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had warned people of another lockdown if they did not follow Covid protocols.
