London has announced a ban on the advertising of junk food across all mediums of public transport in the city. The decision was announced by London Mayor Sadiq Khan and will apply to food and non-alcoholic beverages that are high in fat, salt or sugar. The ban will be effective from February 25 next year and is a measure to control the childhood obesity crisis.
