Winter Coating is the latest toxic dating trend. In this, the old flames or ex-partners reach out to their former lovers during the winter season so that they can have warmth and love for the cozy winters. 

And, as soon as the weather itself becomes warm, they put their winter coats that's apparently the ex-partners, back into the shelves. 

According to experts from the dating app, Inner Circle, winter coating is at its peak these days due to the current cost of living crisis. The data also suggests that 41 per cent of UK singles are dating less because of the rising costs. And, getting back together with an ex means they don't have to go on dates and spend their money.
