Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the bond of siblings. This festival is celebrated every year. However, this year there is confusion regarding whether Raksha Bandhan will be observed on the 30th or 31st of August.
As per the insights provided by Drik Panchang, the forthcoming celebration of Raksha Bandhan is slated for Wednesday, August 30, but due to the influence of Bhadra Kaal, the auspicious time for Rakhi tying extends to August 31 as well.
So, the shubh muhurat to tie Rakhi will begin from 9:01 pm on August 30 and will end on August 31 at 7:05 am.
In the current year, the Bhadra Poonch period for Raksha Bandhan will span from 5:30 pm to 6:31 pm on August 30. Subsequently, the Bhadra Mukha window will commence at 6:31 pm and conclude at 8:11 pm on the same day.
Notably, the Poornima Tithi, signifying the Full Moon phase, initiates at 10:58 am on August 30 and concludes at 7:05 am on August 31.
