In a significant prelude to the 2025 Bihar elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bhagalpur on February 24th, addressing a large public rally at the Airport Ground at 11 AM. Bihar's Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, will accompany Prime Minister Modi at this event, which is expected to attract approximately 500,000 farmers. The rally will also feature the distribution of the Kisan Samman Nidhi, with Prime Minister Modi releasing the 19th installment, underscoring the government's commitment to the welfare and prosperity of the farming community. BJP leader Sahnawaj Hussain informed ANI that senior leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will be present at the rally, along with participants from 13 districts, including Bhagalpur, Munger, and Begusarai. There is buoyant optimism among BJP leaders about securing 200 seats in Bihar, attributed to the robust NDA alliance coordinated under the leadership of PM Modi and Nitish Kumar. "Just like in Delhi, we aim to secure victory in the upcoming Bihar elections too," Hussain confidently stated. The NDA coalition in Bihar comprises the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)], Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustan Awam Morcha, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha. However, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has dismissed any potential influence of Delhi's election results on Bihar. Speaking to the press, Yadav expressed skepticism about the BJP's prospects, confidently asserting that his party's presence precludes the BJP from forming a government in the state. As Bihar gears up for its Legislative Assembly elections across all 243 constituencies, slated for October or November this year, political dynamics intensify. The last assembly elections took place in October-November 2020, setting the stage for another pivotal contest in Bihar's political landscape.
