Being in a relationship is fine, getting married is alright too and being consciously single is even better. This is not what we are saying but data is suggesting so. According to the latest survey by the dating app Bumble, 81% of women in India claim that they are more comfortable being single and on their own.

63% of respondents said they are unwilling to compromise on their desires, choices and needs when dating someone. And, 83% of women said that they are happy to wait till they meet someone they want to be with.

Samarpita Samaddar, India Communications Director, Bumble, said that the Consciously Single trend shows that more women are being intentional in how and who they want to date.
