According to a recent report, the gin was showcased at the London Wine Fair which took place on Tuesday, May 21. The bottle has a unique and exciting steel design featuring endemic red pandas,

Meticulously crafted to root its design and aesthetic to Meghalaya.a Mandarin picker, bamboo forests, a Bedford bus from the colonial era and much more.

The bottle is designed by a native of Shillong who is based in Portland, Rishidev RK.

For the uninitiated, this gin is made with rainwater from Cherrapunji, the wettest place on Earth.

Mayukh Hazarika, a Shillong native and founder of Cherrapunji Gin spoke about his product and said, "When I returned to my hometown as an adult, I realised that I actually really like the rain here, and I knew I wanted to bottle it in some way.
