Your nail polish, shampoo might be increasing your risk of getting Type 2 diabetes; know how

Harmful chemicals are found in most of the market products that you are unaware of. From shampoos, soaps to nail polishes; these products are exposed to phthalates, a type of chemical which is used to make plastic more durable.  

A study published in the Endocrine Society's Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism found that phthalates are linked to the risk of Type 2 diabetes.

Researchers conducted that women in the West are exposed to a higher level of phthalates and have a 30% to 63% greater chances of developing Type 2 diabetes while Asian women are comparatively safer.
