World Malaria Day is observed annually on April 25th to raise awareness about malaria, a life-threatening disease caused by parasites transmitted to people through the bites of infected mosquitoes.

Using coffee powder - Coffee powder can be useful to drive away mosquitoes from home. You can use coffee powder in two ways. Put coffee powder into any stagnant water in and around your home. Due to this, mosquito larvae do not grow in water. Apart from this, put coffee powder in an egg carat or fold it in a piece of paper and burn it. The coffee fumes will make your life better by driving away the stubborn creatures.
Garlic - Apart from enhancing the taste in our dishes, garlic can be used for many household purposes. If you are troubled by mosquitoes, you can use garlic. You have to make a spray from garlic. For this, first crush 4-5 garlic cloves. Now boil the garlic in water and pour this water in a spray bottle. Use this spray to kill mosquitoes.
Lemon and elaichi/clove - Lemon has acetic acid which can help in eliminating odour and killing the insects. The fragrance of cloves also pungent and disliked by mosquitoes. So, cut few lemons into two pieces. Now put 4-5 cloves in it and keep it in the dark corners of the house. This is the most effective and natural way to drive away mosquitoes.
Apple cider vinegar - Make a spray by adding equal amounts of water and apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle. Use this spray to ward off mosquitoes. The acid found in apple cider vinegar is fatal for mosquitoes.
