Summer remedies: Say goodbye to tanning with this homemade aloe vera face mask

As summer approaches we bet you are thinking about how to get rid of tanning. Summer is all about soaking in the warm sun and having a great time with friends and family. But moving around in the sun can cause dehydration, heat wave, and tanning. Every season requires its customised skincare routine and summer skincare includes prevention from tanning. 

You do not need any expensive treatment to remove tanning. Using this home remedy with aloe vera gel and reduce tanning significantly. This will also help keep your skin healthy and moisturised. 

How to remove tanning with aloe vera gel

To remove tanning using aloe vera, take 2 spoons of aloe vera gel in a bowl. Now add a few drops of lemon juice to the gel. Next, add 1 spoon honey in it and mix everything well.

Before applying this on your face, make sure to wash your face thoroughly. 
Now apply this paste on your face with a clean brush and rub it gently.
After about 10-15 minutes, wash your face with lukewarm water. Wipe your face with a soft face towel.

Aloe vera gel is rich in water content, making it an excellent natural moisturiser for the skin. It hydrates the skin without leaving it greasy, making it suitable for all skin types. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help calm irritated skin. It is often used to soothe sunburns, minor burns, and insect bites.

Helpful tips to avoid tanning

To avoid tanning, apply sunscreen on face and body. Apply sunscreen about half an hour before going out and always carry it with you if heading out for long hours. Make sure to cover exposed areas of your body to avoid tanning. You can also wear full sleeve clothes. 

You should always carry an umbrella and sunglasses.
