According to psychologists, physical touch is important for the overall well-being of a person. It was mentioned in several studies that a lack of physical touch is likely to cause anxiety and depression. However, the craving for human touch can vary from person to person. 

It was further mentioned in the studies that people are more touch deprived in countries having touch aversion. 

In conclusion, it was noted that healthy touch is necessary for a person and is known to regulate heart rate and blood pressure. Moreover, it is also associated with the release of happy hormones such as oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine.
