Study finds poor air quality might be causing cognitive issues in babies

According to a latest study, poor air quality might be causing cognitive issues in newborns and toddlers. This study was done by researchers from the University of East Anglia

The researchers revealed an association between poor air quality in India which is now impacting infants. 

Lead author of the study said that when brain growth is at its peak, it may be particularly sensitive to toxins. 

The researchers further noted that air quality was poorer in homes that used solid cooking materials like cow dung cake and thus efforts to reduce cooking emissions in homes should be a key target.
