A new survey presented at the SLEEP 2023 annual meeting in Indianapolis revealed that sex is as good as or better than a sleeping pill.

During the survey, a small group of participants aged between  25 and 49 were questioned about their sleeping habits like sleep quality, sex, orgasm and how often they use sleep medications.

The findings concluded that 75 per cent of the participants slept better after sex or orgasm and 64 per cent felt that a sleeping pill had a similar or worse effect on their sleep.

While it's interesting how sex is used to aid in sleep, as per the survey, further research is required to prove the same.
