A recent study done by Harvard Medical sheds light on why women live longer than men. It said that women are medically stronger than men.

Moreover, both women and men have 23 pairs of chromosomes and while 22 pairs are same in both the sexes the 23rd pair is different in men which is linked to diseases and results in their shorter lives than women.

Besides this, the testosterone hormone in men also starts sieving muscles of the heart over time causing various heart diseases.

According to them, diet, metabolism, reproductive organs and hormones also play a crucial role.
