Knowingly or unknowingly we stack our kitchen with things and appliances which are harmful for our health. Recently, Yoga Instructor Greesha shared some products we must replace in our kitchen with safer options. Here is the list.
- Replace nonstick and aluminium utensils with steel, mud or cast iron ones, as non-stick coatings are made up of harmful chemicals.
- Use a wooden chopping board, instead of a plastic one as it is safer, more durable and easy to clean.
- Replace plastic containers with jute baskets and steel containers, as plastic contains BPA, a harmful chemical which is linked to many health issues.
- Aluminium foil with cotton/muslin cloth for wrapping food and chappatis as foil results in health problems like bone disorders and kidney disease.
