International Yoga Day 2023: Yoga expert shares eye exercise for instant relief and better vision

Our eyes deserve much love, care and attention as we spend hours in front of screens which causes itchiness, dryness and headaches. 

Yoga expert Juhi Kapoor has shared eye yoga called Thumb gazing which can provide instant relief to your eyes. Follow this if your screen time is more than 7 hours. 

How to perform thumb gazing 

Gaze at the centre of your thumb (eye level), up (above eye level), down (below eye level) and side (away from the centre of the eyes). Hold your vision at each for about 20 seconds and repeat the process twice. 

Benefits of thumb gazing 

This exercise will improve your vision, reduce eye dryness, prevent headaches and will provide better focus and concentration.
