Actor and designer Masaba Gupta has given a sneak peek at her lunch menu. She shared an Insta story while relishing kadhi chawal. Kadhi is a protein rich low fat curd dish that’s easy to digest. While the cooling effect of curd makes it refreshing during hot summer days, rice is light and easy to digest if consumed in moderation. Curd is also rich in water content, which keeps the body hydrated during the summer. 

What is kadhi?

Kadhi, a traditional Indian dish made from curd and gram flour (besan), often seasoned with various spices like curry leaves, dhaniya seeds and mustard seeds. It is not only delicious but also offers several benefits, especially during the summer months.
