Easy 4-step recipe to make spinach soup at home

A sure shot way to get adequate nourishment and ensure healthy bones while not compromising on the taste is having a bowl of piping hot spinach soup. Spinach soup is not only incredibly nutritious but also pretty easy to make. 

It only requires a handful of ingredients and can be eaten at any time of the day. It is filling and wholesome and is best paired with a loaf of bread. So, check out this super quick recipe to make this soup at home.

Step 1 

Heat some olive oil in a pan and add 2 cloves of garlic and 1 onion, finely chopped. Sauté for a few minutes. 

Step 2 

Next, add 1 potato, peeled and chopped into cubes along with 2 cups of milk. Let it come to a boil and let it simmer.  

Step 3 

Now add 250 grams of spinach leaves into the pan and cook for 10 minutes. Transfer this mixture into a blender and blend till smooth.

Step 4 

Pour this mixture back into the pan and let it come to a boil. Season with some salt and pepper and serve hot.
