Harsh Goenka shares menu card on X: 'Who knew...'

RPG Enterprises Chairman, Harsh Goenka has shared a snippet of a menu card with weird names of our favourite South Indian dishes on X and it has gone viral. Besides dosa, the menu also mentions vada sambhar as dunked doughnut delight and idli sambhar as dunked rice cake delight. Goenka captioned the post saying, 'Who knew vada, idli, and dosa could sound so fancy? With these strange names khaane ka mazaa khatam! Agree?'

 

X users dropped hilarious comments to Harsh Goenka's post

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the menu card belongs to a vegetarian restaurant called Indian Crepe Co. in Framingham, USA. According to Uber Eats they serve a delightful variety of South Indian cuisine. From this it is quite clear that Indian dishes have great popularity all across the world. 

After Goenka's post went viral, social media users have been sharing it and have also left hilarious comments on the post. 

One of the users said: 

Shakespeare lovers will say "idli,vada, dosa by any other name would smell as sweet or savoury!!" Maybe Gen Z would eat them only if fancy names r given?!

Another user wrote:

They would have hired at least 3 people per dish.  

One more read:

I our country we call it sambar vada, sambar idli and Dosa  . It’s just adding Indian cousin into a Italian menu  

Some users also got offended by the same it seems. One said:

Calling it Naked Crepe is an insult to all South Indians

And another comment was:
