Delhi to Mumbai: Google CEO Sundar Pichai reveals his favourite dishes from India

Google CEO Sundar Pichai loves visiting India and always makes sure to try out his favourite dishes. In a recent conversation with YouTuber Varun Mayya, the Google CEO spilled the beans about how he is a foodie and loves eating Indian dishes. His favourite? Dishes from Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi!

In a conversation with YouTuber Varun Mayya, Pichai spoke in depth about various topics including the impact of Artificial Intelligence on India to his favourite dishes in the country. 

In his conversation, he revealed that when he is in Bangalore he loves munching on dosas. “When I’m in Bangalore,” Pichai confided to Mayya, “I will probably get a dosa. It’s my favourite food.” 

Dosa is a crispy salty fermented crepe with a potato filling. It is a part of the South Indian cuisine and is enjoyed across India. 

He then revealed that he loves Delhi's chole bhature. Chole bhature is a North Indian favourite and consists of fluffy, golden-fried bread (bhature) served alongside a rich and flavorful chickpea curry (chole). Delhi is known for its many road side chole bhature stalls. Even Indian cricketer Virat Kohli loves this Indian dish!

He then spoke about how much he loves Mumbai’s iconic street food, pav bhaji. Pav Bhaji is a popular Indian street food dish that originated in Mumbai. It is served with a piece of soft bread and a plate of mashed vegetables with distinctive flavours of garlic, ginger, and other seasonings.
