Do you also take too much time to get ready? Then you must know that you are not alone. According to a study, people spend one-sixth of their lifetime adjusting minor details of their hair, makeup etc. to look perfect.

The study was published in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, for which the team analysed data of 93,158 volunteers from 93 countries, different cultures and beauty trends like makeup, hairstyles, clothes, body hygiene, exercise and dietary habits.

Almost everyone confessed to spending at least 10 minutes, looking good; with women spending an average of four hours per day and men over three-and-a-half hours.

Another study also found that the rising number of hours people take to primp is a result of higher social media usage.
